Tammy is from a small town in central Massachusetts, which she describes as “just like a Norman Rockwell painting of a little New England town”. Everyone knew everyone and what you did and how you treated people mattered. This small town upbringing gave her the foundation for her life. Her father was a builder and she grew up around the construction industry, then got her real estate license when she was just 19 years old.
Tammy learned early on the entrepreneurial spirit of owning your own destiny. She has owned several business through the years. She was a partner in a manufacturing business for over 10 years, and a passion for food and a healthy lifestyle led to the purchase of a franchise restaurant.
She has been an avid cyclist most of her life and 3 years ago was asked to be part of a relay team in a triathlon… she went searching for a coach and found not only a coach but her future husband. Their life is about daily improvements and setting and reaching goals. Tammy competes in triathlons, and her husband introduced her to competing in outrigger canoe racing. Together they have won many races and hope to compete in Hawaii in the future. This sport has introduced her to a community of paddlers all over the world. The training takes discipline and dogged determination to achieve goals… similar to the entrepreneurial spirit that has guided her through life.
The American dream of owning a business and thriving still exists and Tammy honored to be a part of helping people reach their dreams.
